Jackson's RUF Internship

Hello!

My name is Jackson Peden, and I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2025 with a double major in Biology and Neuroscience. Originally from Brentwood, Tennessee, I graduated from Brentwood Academy in 2021. While medical school is hopefully still part of my future, I first feel called to college ministry and have accepted a position as Reformed University Fellowship’s (RUF) male campus ministry intern at the University of Virginia for the next two years.

As part of this opportunity, I am responsible for raising $51,471 each year to cover my salary (65%), benefits (5%), ministry expenses (18%), and to help support other RUF staff (12%) who run the business side of RUF and make it possible for me to spend as much time as possible with students.

What is RUF?

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), dedicated to reaching and equipping college students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. RUF seeks to engage students in meaningful, Christ-centered community, Biblical teaching, and discipleship. The ministry is committed to helping students grow in their faith, explore their identity in Christ, and build relationships that encourage spiritual growth.
